Google Summer of Code-2017


I participated in Google Summer of Code-2017 with AboutCode organisation. Google Summer of Code is a coding competition in which you spend your summer writing code for any of the open source organisations and Google pays you for doing that.

I spent my summer writing a Server API using Django Rest Framework, POSTgreSQL and many more technologies for the organisation.

This project acted as the base for numerous jobs and internship offers for doing that work.

Google Code-In mentor


Google launches another competition for smaller kids and increase there interest in open source organisation. Under this competition, Students between the age of 13-17 can do simple task with professional mentors and win exciting prizes.

I helped as a mentor with the organisation coala( Code Analyzer).

JekLog is a web app that allows you to create a blog/website with the help of Jekyll and GitHub Pages without using extra hard and expensive databases. The web app is made using Python and Django.

The app is up and running and you can create your blog just by using your GitHub account.

Librehatti


Librehatti CRM Django app


Librehatti is an E-commerce CUM CRM Django app which is used to handle the accounting system for TCC department of our college.

This software was created by my seniors in the college and I did some changes to make it useable when GST was launched by Indian government.

Library Management


Library Management using C++


This software was created as a part of learning process to know the concepts of C++ in a better way and write code according to the new standards.

The app is made by using of standalone C++ and no database is used in the process. Students can get take more than one book at a time. Librarian can see the details of a student by making use of student ID's. All the content was stored in the files in the binary format.

To Do list

To Do list app made using full stack JavaScript framework meteor.js.

This was a todo app in which the user can add the stuff into there to do list with some specific time to the task. User can turn on the task and the time started decreasing. After the end of time we asked the user whether they want to remove the task or they want to keep it. We also used gitlab API to bring gitlab issues to the task list.

OBMS( Online Building Material Store)


Online Building material store


This application made use of Django, HTML, CSS, BootStrap and MySQL as database management system.

OBMS /online building material store was starting point from where I started preparing projects in Django. This was an online e-commerce website where the admin can add products and user can buy things by choosing the quantity.
